Deltron are the largest and most well-known manufacturer of DIN connectors in the UK, although they are often sold under other distributors’ names.

Fully screened and robust DIN connector for use in audio and instrumentation applications. Features bright nickel plate finished zinc alloy shell with silver plated brass contacts. Nylon base mouldings and black PVC strain relief grommets.

Widely used for connecting MIDI and SYNC inferfaces for electronic musical instruments and equipment.

Once popular for use in stereo or mono interconnects between amplifers, pre-amps, tape recorders and AUX auxillary inputs on hi-fi equipment such as NAIM and QUAD. Also used in DMX applications and as keyboard connectors for older IBM PC/AT computers, Apple IIc serial ports, some headsets and tilt controls for UMTS Antennas.
